What can we say about Shelby? Having all known Shelby I’m sure you are aware she liked to mother everybody, including her three big brothers, the truth is we liked being mothered but we wouldn’t tell her that, being looked after by your little sister despite popular belief is not cool. Shelby has a smile that could light up a room but she also had a frown that would make you feel instantly like you had wound her up that little bit too much, that’s one thing you did not want to be on the receiving end of, but this is also what brothers and sisters are meant to do. Shelby is a very loving person all the time and she showed this the most by being very protective of us, we weren’t anyone else’s we were Shelby’s. She had the kindest heart and would do anything for any us or just anybody for that matter, even a stranger in the street, her love touched everyone she encountered. We all have very fond memories of Shelby and her cheeky smile and loud personality, but that makes all this so much harder to bare as the silence makes it so much more painful. She is one of the most amazing little sisters you could ever ask for, she always has kind words and comforting cuddles in times of need, we just wish we could have one of her cuddles right now. I’m going to end by saying her older brothers are not willing to say goodbye as we refuse to believe she is gone, she may not be here in body but she is still here, she is in each and every one of our hearts and will always remain there.
