The Missing Sister The beam of light that disappears from your life is only the beginning of the torture, it's the days that follow that make the pain unbearable, there is no flicker of hope, for the light is gone. The mind does not rest now, as it can't comprehend the darkness in the world, you hope that a glimmer of light will awaken you from the black of the day and the night, but darkness is relentless. The darkness gives the mind no hope, the realisation the darkness will never be shattered by the glimmer of light from her beaming smile grows. Just one smile would pull the mind from eternal darkness but the smile never comes, she possessed the power of light and it was her warmest gift. By Harry Gillespie-Boarer
